Who are we?

Northeast Centre for Equity Action on Integrated Development (NEAID) is a not-for-profit, apolitical grassroots organization led by people from the region to support development initiatives in tribal and rural areas of Northeastern India focusing on Quality Education, Health, and its determinants. NEAID’s interventions are aligned with sustainable development goals (SDGs) and designed in such a way that its programs complement the existing public system.

NEAID believes that Good Health and quality Education can bring a family out of poverty and vice-versa. Both are powerful tools to bring about pervasive and micro-economic changes in society as knowledge, skills, and health are important parts of human capital that contribute to national productivity.

Our Vision

We envision to create and live-in an equitable and prosperous society through integrated development.

Our Mission

We strive to create an inclusive society in Northeast India by improving healthcare and education access through partnerships, advocacy, and integrating development efforts.
