About NEAID

Northeast Centre for Equity Action on Integrated Development (NEAID) is a not-for-profit, apolitical grassroot organization led by people from the region to support development initiatives in tribal and rural areas of Northeastern India focusing on Quality Education, Health, and its determinants. NEAID’s interventions are aligned with sustainable development goals (SDGs) and designed in such a way that it complements the existing public system.

NEAID believes that Good Health and quality Education can bring a family out of the poverty line and vice-versa. Both are powerful tools to bring about pervasive and micro-economic changes in society as knowledge, skills, and health is important parts of human capital that contribute to national productivity.
