At NEAID, we believe in the power of local people and the importance of investing in their professional development. That’s why we offer internship opportunities to young changemakers to learn and build up their skill level. Our goal is to provide the interns with core skills that they can use for future employment in the development sector.
Our intern programs are designed for 2-4 months and we’re proud to say that some of our past interns had joined the staff position. Our interns add value to our work, and we’re always looking for new talent to work with us and learn.
There are two types of intern opportunities available at NEAID:
Office-based internship: Our office-based interns work in project support, which can involve working with finance systems, administration, logistics, Program review, monitoring and evaluation, and activities to support the program.
Field-based internship: Our field-based interns work primarily in the rural areas of Assam. Their responsibilities can include assisting in creating and fulfilling project plans, community development activities (such as facilitating school/community meetings, training, and workshops), and any other work related to program implementation.
